Food Culture!
The students in Grade 1/2 have completed their learning from school and on remote this year. Our Teams meetings and extended remote period in the winter months gave us the opportunity to share many significant cultural events. We learned that while we may celebrate different holidays that these celebrations have many similarities. We all celebrate with family and usually with food. When we came together in the classroom in the spring, we continued to explore our similarities and differences. We shared recipes and also our languages during our study of water. One of our favourite activities has been to listen to O Canada sung in different languages.
